- 4 potatoes
- 2 –3 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 3/4 tsp. paprika
- 1/3 tsp. turmeric
- 1/2 tsp. coriander
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
Instructions
- Wash potatoes with a brush and pat dry. Using a knife, shape the potatoes into a cube shape. Lay the potato out on a board. On both sides, place chopsticks as a stopper for the incisions. With a sharp knife, make incisions on the sticks, not all the way through, in about 0.2-inch increments. Hold the knife perpendicular to the board.
- Turn the potatoes 90 degrees and continue slicing in the same manner. Transfer the prepared potatoes to a bowl. Prepare brine by diluting salt in two cups of room temperature water. Pour water over the potatoes. Leave the vegetables for 10 minutes.
- Blot the potatoes with a cotton towel. Brush the cube with vegetable oil on all sides and in the notches. Sprinkle potatoes with spices.
- Place potatoes in an air fryer. Cook the dish at 390 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes. Gently flip the potatoes with two spatulas and continue cooking for about 10 more minutes.
