Ingredients

  1. Bread – 1 and a half piece for 1 basket
  2. Egg – 1 for each basket
  3. Vegetables – of your choice
  4. Salt – for taste
  5. Spices – of your choice
  6. Melted butter

Instructions

  1. We’re using small, round cake trays as the bread basket mould but you can also use large cupcake tray. Prepare a slice of bread (or 2) into pieces to make a basket shape inside the tray.
  2. Apply a coat of melted butter on the top surface (inner) of the bread basket shape inside the tray.
  3. Chop the selected vegetables into small pieces and mix them with the spices of your choice. Add salt to the mixture as well.
  4. Mix the chopped vegetables, salt and spices together nicely.
  5. Add some mixed vegetables in the bread basket. Do not fill the whole basket because we need to keep enough space for an egg.
  6. This step is optional, but you can add some cheese on the top of the vegetables.
  7. Add an egg in the bread basket and sprinkle some oregano on the top of the cracked egg.
  8. Bake the egg bread basket in a pre-heated oven, to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, for 16 minutes.
