Ingredients
Scale
- 3–4 pounds of country style pork ribs
- 1 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon chipotle chili pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon of oregano
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- a pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)
Instructions
- Place the pork ribs in your slow cooker. Dice a cup of onion and toss it into the cooker.
- In a measuring cup, combine all of the remaining ingredients. Stir them together and pour over the ribs in your slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low setting for 6-8 hours.
- You will need a slotted spoon to scoop out the meat, because it will literally be falling off of the bones. The day after I made these, I used leftover meat from the ribs to make some great paninis!
- Enjoy!
