Description
Few things are better with a cup of tea (or coffee) than a fresh cinnamon roll. Well, these Christmas cinnamon rolls are fun for the whole family, with cute reindeer decorations that will add flair to a Christmas brunch.

For the Rolls
- 2¾ cups all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 egg
- 1 package instant yeast or 2¼ tsp
- ½ cup water
- ¼ cup milk
- 1 tsp salt
For the Filling:
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp cinnamon powder
- ¼ cup butter
For the Decoration:
- lotus Biscoff spread/ peanut butter/ Nutella
- edible eyes
- crackers
- m&m’s for nose
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375F(190C).
- In a big bowl, add warm milk, water, yeast, and 1 tbsp of white sugar. Let it rest for 10-15 mins.
- Add egg and flour; make the dough.
- In the final step incorporate small diced butter cubes into the dough.
- Cover the dough with a towel and let it rise to the double or triple size.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface and baste the top with softened or melted butter.
- Mix together the cinnamon and brown sugar.
- Sprinkle that on top of the butter, then roll up the dough.
- To make 12 pieces out of the dough use a knife or dental floss.
- Place the pieces on a tray.
- Cover with a towel and let them rise for 35-45 minutes.
- Baste the tops with melted butter.
- Bake in oven at 375F (190C) for 15-20 minutes.
- After cooling them down, decorate the Christmas cinnamon rolls with lotus spread, M&Ms and pretzels to make them look like reindeer.
