Description

This is one of those classic recipes that take you back to childhood. This healthier yummy homemade version will be sure to keep the kids asking for more!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb. ground sausage
  • 4 cups sharp white cheddar, grated
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1 tbs. sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. ) Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Cover baking pan with waxed paper or grease pan with coconut oil.
  2. ) Combine all ingredients in large bowl. Mix well with your hands until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed. The mixture will be very crumbly.
  3. ) Roll the mixture into your hands to form one inch balls and place them on the baking sheet.
  4. ) Bake for about 18 minutes or until golden brown.
