Easy Meatball Hoagies
Sometimes you simply need a really easy meal because your day is so busy that you just won’t have time to cook. These Easy Meatball Hoagies are just the thing you need!
To begin, place a cup of thinly sliced red onion in your slow cooker. (I used half of a red onion.)
In a bowl, combine one jar (24 oz.) of your favorite marinara sauce, with a tablespoon of balsamic vinegar and 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes. (If you have an aversion to heat, feel free to leave the red pepper flakes out.)
Add in a teaspoon of all-purpose seasoning. Stir those all together.
Place 1 1/2 lb of store bought frozen Italian style meatballs in your slow cooker. Pour the sauce over the top and gently stir to combine. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours.
Serve the meatballs on rolls with a slice of provolone cheese. How easy is that?!
