Cranberry Orange Pork
I hope you enjoy this Cranberry Orange Pork – tender pork roast with tangy-sweet cranberry orange sauce. This main dish is so incredibly simple to make but has so much flavor. It is a family favorite in my house.
To begin, combine a can (14 ounces) of cranberry sauce, a cup of orange juice, and a half cup of brown sugar in a saucepan.
Bring these to a simmer and let them cook together until the cranberry sauce is melted in. Stir occasionally.
Place a pork loin roast in your crockpot, and sprinkle it with about a half teaspoon each of salt & pepper. The roast I used was about 2 1/2 lbs.
Pour in half of your cranberry mixture. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 8. Reserve the remaining half of the sauce for later.
When the roast is done cooking, heat up your reserved sauce. Slice the roast and arrange it on a platter. Pour the hot sauce over the top.
Serve your Cranberry Orange Pork with your favorite sides. We had fresh green peas and smashed potatoes. Enjoy!
