Spiced Lime Chicken
When the weather begins to turn warm and you start looking for springtime activities to do with your kids, it’s a great time to year to find recipes that include citrusy flavors. This spiced lime chicken is just the ticket!
How to Make Spiced Lime Chicken
In a small dish combine 1/2Â teaspoon each of salt, ground black pepper, thyme, coriander, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and parsley along with 1/8 teaspoon of cayenne pepper. Mix them together. Set aside for now.
Using a fillet knife, cut two boneless, skinless chicken breasts in half, and then into 4 cutlets.
Sprinkle half of the spice mixture over the chicken and rub it on. Turn the cutlets over and rub the other half on the other sides. This will make the amazing flavor of the spiced lime chicken.
In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon each of extra virgin olive oil and butter over medium high heat. Cook the chicken for about 3 minutes on each side or until slightly golden and cooked through.
Remove the cutlets to a serving platter and drizzle with the juice of one lime.
Enjoy!
This dish of spiced lime chicken would go great with loaded baked potato bites and broccoli salad.
