The BEST Chicken Broccoli Stir-Fry!
I hate to brag, but I’m pretty sure we have the BEST chicken broccoli stir-fry recipe on the planet! We leave out sugar and serve over cauliflower rice, making this a great low carb recipe, and we use ingredients that make it a great gluten free recipe. It has a few steps, but it is super easy to fix and it’s so very flavorful! Try it and let us know if you agree!
Since we are trying so hard to get healthier in 2019, this recipe will be one that stays in rotation! I have to eat it without the rice to stay keto (I use cauliflower rice.), but the boys and hubby love it with regular rice.
First, cut up the chicken into bite-size pieces.
Then fry the chicken in toasted sesame oil. It gives it a Japanese flavor.
While the chicken is frying, whisk together all the liquid ingredients.
Rinse broccoli and cut stems off, keeping just the florets.
Place in a strainer and sit on top of boiling water. We like to add a lid to just keep as much heat and moisture as possible on the broccoli. While the broccoli is steaming, you can drain the chicken if needed.
Pour the liquid ingredients into the pan with the chicken and mix.
Pour in the dry ingredients and stir.
Once the broccoli is steamed, pour into the pan with the chicken and mix it well. Serve on a bed of rice if you are not following a low-carb diet. If you are, you can use cauliflower rice!
