Starbucks Copycat Gingerbread Latte

This tasty drink is perfect for a New Year’s Eve activity night to help you stay up with the kids until the stroke of midnight (that is, if you’re good with caffeine during the evening. If not, try making it on New Year’s Day instead!)
This “copycat” Starbucks-style gingerbread latte is easy to prepare and only requires five ingredients to make. In fact, you likely have most of the ingredients on hand, with the possible exception of ginger syrup.
Here’s how to put those few ingredients together to make a delicious cup of latte.
Ingredients for Gingerbread Latte
While these portions of ingredients will make a single serving, you just need to multiply them to make as many servings as you’re looking for.
- ¼ cup fresh brewed coffee
- ¾ cup warm milk
- 2-3 tbsp ginger syrup
- ½ tsp vanilla
- Pinch of nutmeg
Instructions for Making Gingerbread Latte
1. To start, you want to pour a quarter cup of freshly brewed dark coffee into a container.
2. Then add your ginger syrup and the vanilla as well.
3. Add about two-thirds of the warmed milk to the coffee mixture.
4. Whip the remaining milk into foam. If you have a milk frother on hand, that’s the easiest way to make foam with warm milk. Pour the frothy milk into the coffee.
5. Sprinkle with a dash of nutmeg if you’d like. Fresh ground nutmeg adds a lovely garnish, and serve it hot. Your gingerbread latte would go really well with some Pumpkin Spice Cookies or Eggnog Glazed Sugar Cookies!
